## About
Planetary Transportation Systems (PTS), formally founded as Part-Time Scientists in June 2009 by Robert Böhme (concept discussions began in 2008 after Google announced the Lunar X-Prize; official Google Lunar X-Prize entry on 24 June 2009), grew from a group of Berlin engineers into a full aerospace company. PTS developed the ALINA autonomous lunar lander, the Audi Lunar Quattro rover, and the Curium One satellite. This site preserves the history, achievements, and open-source contributions of the team.

- Google Lunar X-Prize milestone prizes ($750k awarded)
- Audi partnership for lunar rover development
- Ariane 6 ASTRIS Kick Stage avionics (largest subcontractor to ArianeGroup)
- Curium One satellite launched on Ariane 6 maiden flight (July 2024, currently in orbit)
